The plan for this exclusive 8,000 square foot home was designed by Anita.  The clients worked with her in the programming phase to decide what spaces they would want and how they would use their home.  The resulting footprint was professionally drafted and subsequently built in Lincoln, NE.  The open plan contains a large great room, butler's pantry, dining room, dinette, and kitchen.  The large master bedroom, dual master bathrooms, walk-in closets with laundry, and private deck along with the library and sitting room are nestled on the private end of the home.  The lower level contains a movie theatre, family room, large bar, billiards room, three bedrooms, larger laundry space and craft room.  The home, bordering on a golf course, makes full use of the wonderful exterior view with a cascading rock pond, large pool, cabana, and exterior kitchen.

The award-winning master bathroom was requested by the clients to have a five star "spa" feel.  Their preference was for a dual space with separate vanity and stool areas.  Her side includes a chromo therapy jetted tub, cosmetic refrigerator and pedicure sink which connects to his side through a large walk in dual-jetted shower with adjoining curved glass steam shower.  Both spaces include towel warming drawers, spacious storage and hidden televisions.  Kevin took on the challenge of framing the curved walls to incorporate plumbing fixtures and other built-ins.  Skillful organization and thorough planning on Kevin's part resulted in a stunning space.

Another award-winning room in the home is the theatre.  Half of the room is stepped down to create a two tier effect for rows of power reclining seats.  The extra large projection screen slips down through built-in cabinetry that also houses storage for movies and music.  The "wavy" ceiling eases up from the back wall to help with the high standard of acoustics required. 

This executive home utilizes classic details with a transitional style. The savey homeowners worked with Anita, incorporating the latest in technology and products, to fullfil their dream home. Kevin's expertise was key to building the innovative wall and ceiling designs. The exceptional trimming detail he lent to the project resulted in a stunning effect. This one-of-a-kind home will be a masterpiece for generations to come.

Kevin and Anita collaborated on this open area ranch plan in Wilderness Ridge. Efficiency and creativity are evident as you enter this home with over 3,800 square feet of finished space. Along with the spacious master suite, the first floor also includes a second bedroom and office. The great room with it's detailed wall niches has an easy flow to the kitchen with granite counters and limestone backsplash. An extra large dinette separated by lighted columns feels more like a separate dining room. Three full baths are divided between the first floor and walk-out lower level. The concrete deck is covered with slate to provide a weather-proofed lower outdoor area.

Two large bedrooms are kept separate from the spacious family room in the lower level. A large bar/kitchenette borders the family room. The walk out patio extends beyond the upper deck boundaries toward the landscaped yard. An outdoor fireplace backs up to a separate storage area just perfect for cushions or lawn equipment. Adding value to the outdoor area is a bricked counter space, suitable for bar height seating or serving.

Current trends toward outdoor entertaining, ranch-style living and open areas were incorporated in this wonderful home. The exterior front and sides are brick. The interior showcases creative detail in ceilings, niches and cabinet design. Quality is obvious in framing, trimwork and finishes. The home is being professionally decorated. Completion date is late spring, 2007.
